Every Dog Has His Blog

So, it looks like I'm gonna give this a try. Even though I feel completly silly posting things I know no one will ever read or see.

Ah, well. I have a website no one sees or reads, so what's one more, eh?

I'll be using this as a dumping ground for sketches that I do and some other random thoughts thrown in.

So, here's the first bit:



This one's a bit of scribble technique I was trying. I remember reading about this idea in the How to Draw Comics the Marvel way and thinking it was the most daft idea I'd ever heard.

Now that I try it, I kind of like the freedom you can get. This image had a bit more character in it then I ever thought it would and it let me find a pose I liked.



This other one is a sketch I did for the next issue of 1125 Fremont, the comic I draw at our website, Team Fremont.com

Anyway, I did these sketches using Sketchbook Pro 2 on a Tablet PC and I find it's a nice little tool to use when I'm feeling the need for some free sketches with a loose feel. Helps develop some ideas for me. Anyway, that's all I've got.
